I rely deep on mantra’s, rewiring my brain, and self talk whenever I am in that ANNOYED WITH EVERYTHING space. This often happens with my kiddos, to no fault of their own, I just… am a grump. The world feels like too much and suddenly I’m in deep to a mood I don’t want to be in.
To dig out I work on revamping my self talk, brain talk, and what I am focusing on. Having a few go-to mantras has made a world of difference for me. Typically I close my eyes, put my hands over my eyes, and take a big deep breath while I just repeat-reapeat-repeat one of these phrases.
Some of these are obviously more situation specific, but hopefully at least a few feel like they’re applicable for you too.
