But my own youtube yoga videos? NOPE. I’ve been asked a bunch, but I felt like “what do I have to offer that isn’t already there?”
And the answer? Not much in the way of an amazing practice. But in the way of normalizing, representing a different body, and making your own home practice feel OK/typical/worth it? IN that vein, I’ve got a LOT to offer.
So? Instead of stressing, buying anything new, I uploaded a couple of sweet live videos from IG that I’ve shared of my own practice. I talk you through the poses, class, and reasons behind my movements.
I also have a mailman visit, my dog join in, kiddos asking to eat cold hot-dogs (I KNOW) during down dog, and as some point my body makes a REALLY weird noise that I don’t acknowledge… so, games on, did you spot it?
I’m hoping one day to produce a far more beautiful and put together videos, but the reality is that this is what my practice looks like more often than not, so in an effort to illustrate what I preach; Here you go. I hope it helps, makes your body feel amazing, and brings you right on into the picture perfect yoga life.
This first video is my Yoga Flow for your Flow; aka, period Yoga! But it would feel good anytime you’re feeling a little crampy or like your hips need a little extra love.
Second is my Yoga for Digestion. Good for bloat days, if you ate a bit more than felt comfortable, or if you’re just looking for a twist cozy practice.
Do you do yoga on YouTube? For me its a nice go-to when I can’t get my own practice rolling and attending a studio class isn’t possible. Also, I’d love to know what other kind of flows you’re looking for! Doing my practice live on IG has been SO much fun, and I’m eager to do more! Also, if you are just starting your yoga practice, give this post a read for tips to get going!
