I’ve got a big thing for drinks. Give me tea, kombucha, coffee, water, sparkling water, a latte, a matcha, just alluvit. I share often about my favorite drinks on IG and here too. Today I wanted to show you a few of my recent favorite drinks that have been popping up on my in my diet a bit more often than not.
Drinks for me are comforting, cozy, filling, and always feel a little indulgent. I’ve found that creating gorgeous drinks has become my self care in a big way. Today I wanted to share a few of my go-to favorites!
All of these recipes have been on my site previously, but I wanted to pop a good handful of my tried and true drinks into one post!
BULLET PROOF TEA
1 Cup Brewed Spicy Tea (I like using any kind of cinnamon)
1 tsp fat (ghee, butter, or coconut oil)
1tsp raw honey
Add all ingredients to the blender, blend thoroughly till foamy.
SPICY CIDER MATCHA
1 cup apple cider (warmed)
1/2 tsp. matcha
1 tsp (dried) ginger, or 1tsp juiced ginger
Heat cider, add matcha and ginger, blend well and serve immediately.
Ah, this next one is my kiddos favorite. Especially amazing as a steamer! You could even add a little extra cacao to make it into a relatively healthy hot chocolate drink! This recipe is smooth, ridiculously protein rich, and so creamy and enjoyable. I also love adding this to my morning coffee.
Also?? Pulling this together made me realize that I’ve never shared how I make my bulletproof coffee?! WHAT! So, expect that coming soon!
1 Cup Raw or Roasted Almonds
3 Cups Cold Filtered Water
2 Tbs Cacao Honey
1/2 tsp salt
Soak almonds in water overnight, after 8-12 hours rinse them and put them into your blender with 3 cups fresh water.
Blend on high for three minutes.
Add in honey and salt.
Blend on high for one more minute.
Strain through nut milk bag or cheese cloth. Really squeeze to get out all the liquid.
Store in airtight container in the fridge, keeps for 2-3 days, shake well before drinking.
